Reading Therapy
Our Reading Therapy program goes beyond reading tutoring to enable explicit understanding and application of the structure of the English Language. It covers phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, pragmatics, and orthography to create a foundation for oral and written language.
Orton Gillingham Based
These 50 minute therapeutic sessions are intensive and include multi-sensory Orton Gillham based activities to develop reading accuracy, fluency, comprehension, spelling, and written expression. We integrate the five components of effective reading instruction supported by the National Reading Panel research meta-analysis and the No Child Left Behind Act.
Modified Curriculum
The curriculum can also be modified to address specific language targets of students with autism, even if they are non-verbal.
